Gas commissioning technician — Orlu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Orlu, Imo State. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Your main tasks: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
