Trainee butcher — Ngor-Okpala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case.
