Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers You will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone.
