You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant The role involves backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin.
