Lathe programmer-operator — Okigwe

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Okigwe, Imo State. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Part-time with flexible hours.
