Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Meriwether County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Meriwether County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
