On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
