Powder coating technician — Baldwin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Baldwin County, Alabama. The job is in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects The role involves cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
