Hydraulic press operator — Gwer West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Gwer West, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
