Confectioner — Oldham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Oldham County, Texas. You will work in a bread factory. Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
