Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Lee County, Virginia. You will work on a road construction project. The role involves: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
