Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
