Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Saline County, Illinois. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 1+ years on the tools preferred.
