Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ukwa West, Abia State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
