Site carpenter — Kankakee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Kankakee County, Illinois. Day to day you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
