Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Benue State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Logo, Benue State. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
