Formwork carpenter • Takai, Kano State

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Takai, Kano State. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
