Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Zing, Taraba State. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day to day you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦125,000 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
