Gas commissioning technician — Cache County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Cache County, Utah. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day-to-day duties: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation 6+ years on the tools preferred. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
