Horticulturist • Balanga, Gombe State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Balanga, Gombe State. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines 1+ years on the tools preferred.
