Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Malheur County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
