Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Full-time, day shift.
