Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Haora, West Bengal. You will work in a garment export house. You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should bring sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings; physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
