Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Ikpoba-Okha

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams 6+ years on the tools preferred.
