Carpenter — Hardin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Hardin County, Texas. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Part-time with flexible hours.
