The role involves operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear.
