Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. The job is at a power plant. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
