Hoist operator — Okeechobee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
