Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Webb County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Meals and transport allowance provided.
