Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
