Steam press operator — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Calhoun County, Texas. You will be based in a busy laundry. You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
