Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jersey County, Illinois. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
