Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Blackpool, England. The job is on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 6+ years on the tools preferred. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
