Dogger wanted in Benton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Benton County, Oregon. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Performance bonus on top of base pay.
