Shakeout operator wanted in Katcha

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Katcha, Niger State. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦155,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
