Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Jackson County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
