Immediate opening: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will be based in a large warehouse. Your main tasks: • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book Requirements: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
