Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Orlu, Imo State. The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
