Mobile crane operator — Haora

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Haora, West Bengal. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. You will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
