Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Wise County, Texas. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
