Site dozer operator — Suffolk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The job is on a quarry floor. Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. What we are looking for: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Full-time with occasional weekends.
