Now hiring: earthmoving equipment operator (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Cardiff, Wales. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Your main tasks: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
