Machine operator (earthworks) — Wallowa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Wallowa County, Oregon. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
