Powder coating technician • Umatilla County, Oregon

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Umatilla County, Oregon. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. On a typical shift you will check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
