Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Linn County, Oregon. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
