Milling machine operator — Geidam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Geidam, Yobe State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
