Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Skagit County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Skagit County, Washington. The job is at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
