Immediate opening: mechanical press operator (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Sumner County, Kansas. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
