Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Ifedore, Ondo State. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius 2+ years on the tools preferred.
