Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Ezinihitte, Imo State. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
